Jeffrey Saporito
Jeff is the proud owner of four Dobermans since 1990, and a passionate “fan” and “student” of the breed.
His first Doberman experience was an oversize male, Dillon, Kimbertal’s Tiger Tale.
Upon Dillon’s untimely demise in 1994, Jeff spent a year searching for a conscientious and reputable Doberman breeder. This successful search resulted in Jeff meeting Ray Carlisle and his Cara Kennel, and subsequently forged a solid, respectful friendship that continues to flourish today.
Jeff’s first Cara Doberman was Samson the Windwalker, a Clemens son, born 3/6/95. Samson’s outstanding temperament and heritage, a truly “well built” Doberman, brought over ten years of rewarding companionship until he passed on 10/15/05.
The second Cara Doberman in Jeff’s life is Rosie, Cara’s Thorny Issue. Rosie was born on 2/13/05, and Jeff made a pledge that he would work together with Rosie toward earning as many titles that he could possibly commit to. To this end, Rosie and Jeff have been training with John Soares since Rosie was six months old, earning her WAC at exactly eighteen months and her BH at twenty eight months. Jeff and Rosie hope to earn her SchH 1 title in the near future.
Rosie became a mommy on December 18, 2008, under Uncle Ray’s watchful and loving care at Cara Kennel. With Topper as sire, Rosie produced five beautiful puppies, one of which, a solid red male, came home to enliven the Saporito household on 2/8/09.
Jeff lives in Wantagh, Long Island, where he is raising his young daughter Mary, momma Rosie, and the new Rosie son puppy. All three are being raised with lots of love, kisses, firm discipline and treats. back to members |
